For the life of me, I just cannot understand why Canada is such an underrated travel destination, whether you’re going there for a bit of business or indeed if you’re perhaps visiting purely as a tourist. Okay, maybe there is the one reason that it can be a bit expensive, but that’s not how it is for the entire country and it’s a massive country too! It’s colossal. Sure, Vancouver ranks as one of the most expensive cities in the entire world, but you really don’t have to stay in Vancouver for the entire duration of your trip and in fact you don’t have to stay there at all.
Anyway, even those of us who would gladly refer to ourselves as budget travelers look forward to at least one trip a year where we really splurge a bit and embrace all the luxuries of travel instead of the usual scrimping we’ve accustomed ourselves to, so Vancouver could very well be that destination at which you go and spoil yourself as a luxury travel destination.
Otherwise there are so many other reasons why this vast North American country of Canada is so underrated, making for the next place you should probably plan a trip to.
Great for doing business
If you can get all your affairs in order as far as compliance goes, then you can be in for a very constructive time on a business trip to Canada. There are plenty of opportunities for business collaboration in order to do a bit of business locally or take the operations back with you to your home country. Yes it will be challenging to meet the requirements set forth by the Canadian immigration in order to be granted something like a business visa, but their systems around all of that are so advanced that if you do indeed meet the requirements it probably means that you really have your own affairs in order.
A vast array of getaway activities to enjoy
If I started going on about all the things you can do in just one town in Canada, let alone one province or even the whole country, this would be a blog post with no end. There are so many things to see and do and if you head to the northern region of the country then you can immerse yourself fully in the iconic winter fun that’s on offer.
It CAN be affordable to escape to
If you go ahead and look for a cheap flight to Calgary as a starting point for planning your trip to Canada you will realise that it really doesn’t have to be expensive at all. It doesn’t matter where in the country you’re ultimately going because the transport system is really that good, so Calgary could very well be your entry point.
To give you an example of just how cheap a trip to Canada can be, I once ran a search for some private accommodation and prices of around 8-$10 per night came up!
