Thailand is an exotic paradise, complete with blue seas, white beaches, and a wealth of flora and fauna, making it an excellent vacation destination. You will also find that some beaches such as the one at Phang Nga Bay have been used as famous film locations, while on others they run full moon parties, and rock climbing experiences.

There are also coral reefs surrounding many of the smaller islands around the Thai coast, making them a perfect spot for some snorkeling or diving.

Sample the food

Even if you have never visited Thailand before, you are probably aware of the excellent reputation of the food there. It has, of course, spread across the whole world, with many restaurant specializing in Thai cuisine even in the west.

However, you will not get better Thai food than the stuff that is freshly caught and served in Thailand itself. Look out for dishes like Tom Yum Goong and Gaeng Keow Wan Kai, as well as Gaeng Daeng and Tom Kha Kai.

Also, don’t forget that you are likely to endear yourself to the locals and be better understood when ordering your meals if you can speak a little Thai. Lastly, Thailand is a place filled with rich and ancient culture, and it provides many historical sites which you will not want to miss. Also, the Wat Arun temple is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike, and a visit there will genuinely help to make your trip unforgettable.
