London is a world city, and a seriously exciting place to visit. While Britain has many phenomenally successful summer festivals, and London is no exception, the sheer number of people in the capital means the city is also in position to host several festivals in the spring and be sure that they can reach a good number of people. If any of these take your fancy, consider booking a stay in London now!
All Points East
For your chance to see giant names such as Mumford and Sons, Chemical Brothers, Christine and the Queens and The Strokes, everything from rock to indie folk is alive and kicking at this festival, returning to London for the second year running, and brought to you by the creators of Coachella. All Points East is held in Victoria Park, at the end of Spring. If you want the full London festival-going experience for a couple of weekends why not make the capital the trip of a lifetime by grabbing your suite at the Dorsett Hotel, City of London, and venturing out to hit the festival, taking in the whole experience of the city along the way.
Desertfest London
If the mainstream isn’t quite your speed, this heavier alternative festival returns to London as an over-18’s only event in Camden – one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods for music and fashion. Desertfest attracts a wild but loyal crowd from the stoner and psych scenes, and if you want to see the giants of these genres come to London the May Bank Holiday (3rd – 5th May) this year is the perfect time to see them. Even if this is not normally your scene, why not go along and try a wildly new experience while you are in the city for the weekend?
UK Garage Fest 2019

Taking Place at the Great Suffolk Street Warehouse, on the Southbank, not far from the Shard, this is one festival where you don’t have to worry about the rain. You can enjoy the likes of Artful Dodger and Oxide & Neutrino, here. Being so close to London, attractions such as the Globe and the Shard you will be easily able to find other exciting activities to fill your time in the day, but make sure to save a lot of energy for the festival, too!
